The International Guild of Knot Tyers The International Guild of Knot Tyers (IGKT) is a worldwide association of people with interests in knots and knotting techniques of all kinds. The Guild was founded in 1982 with a mission to promote the art, craft, and science of knotting, to undertake research into all aspects of knotting, and to establish an authoritative body for consulting purposes. Since the year 2000 the German knot friends meet at least once a year to a common meeting. In 2008 the most German knot friends decided to found a own Assoziation as local Branch of the IGKT. The first meeting of the IGKT GERNMAN BRANCH will be at the Half-Yearly Meeting of the IGKT 10th - 12th October 2008 in Cuxhaven |
